Virtually all gay adult studio titles are available on demand within weeks or months of their DVD release on one or both of  maleflixxx or Male Pay Per View, the two largest video-on-demand services for gay titles. Some studios have an exclusive agreement with one of the VOD services, but most do not.

Well, the Lucas Entertainment RAUNCH line has been launched and promises the first release, "Farts," will be their "filthiest, kinkiest release to date, focusing on talking buttholes." Michael Lucas, Cam Casey, Micah Lawrence, and company "plunge into the sleaziest depths of sexual depravity you can imagine."

The LAPD Vice Squad has once again protected us all by closing down a gay porn shoot on private property in a warehouse in Northridge, Cal. 

The scene involved Dillon Buck and Colton Steele and was for Steve Cruz' new film, "Blue Movie." The Squad claims they were responding to an anonymous tip. The interruption will cost Falcon thousands of dollars in fines and lost wages.

"We found it strange that the LAPD vice squad went through the trouble of entering a private location to issue a citation," said Troy Prickett, Falcon's Director of Promotion. "It's the wrong department, and studios shoot on this set every week without problems. I hate to sound over-dramatic, but this was an inside job."

Prickett wouldn't go into detail but said there were a few people with an interest in disrupting a Falcon production.

The Sword takes a quick look at power top Chad Hunt's first on-camera anal scene and last ever (for now) porn flick. Yes, Mr Big Cock is retiring from the biz and decided to go out with a (gang) bang!

Director Jett Blakk should know better than to try to keep secrets, especially in this industry. So when he took to his blog promising something special in his newest flick, someone was going to find out just how special that something was.

"Today, production begins on 'Endgame,' my new film from Dink Flamingo's Dirty Bird Pictures," Blakk wrote in his blog. "I'm very excited about it, for three reasons:  1. it's Dirty Bird's most expensive, most land-spanning production to date, and Dink has entrusted me with it; 2. we're going to Bodega Bay to cameo a location from one of my favorite movies; and 3. something's going to happen in this film. ... Something BIG."

The sleuthy guys over at The Sword were able to recruit a mole on set to take some pics. And what do you think they found out?

Over the next four weeks Maleflixxx will be releasing scenes from Black Scorpion Entertainment's "Cuma Sutra" (one scene per week). The video was filmed entirely on location at a yoga retreat in the rolling hills of southern Washington State, starring the likes of D.O., Derek Rivero, and Rocko. We doubt there was much meditating going on.

James Ian, Marketing Director for Black Scorpion, is very happy Maleflixxx is providing this world wide Internet exclusive. "After the hugely successful launch of our first two movies on the Maleflixxx network, 'Dreams of Rafael' and 'Obsession of D.O.,' with both going to the #1 position of the most watched movies - we are very excited about the debut of 'Cuma Sutra,'" he said.

Eric Johnson, President of Sureflix Digital Distribution, owners and operators of Maleflixxx, is really pushing this new release. "Cuma Sutra is truly an incredible film of the highest quality and it deserves maximum exposure. ... Black Scorpion Entertainment is producing masterful creations that are raising the bar in the gay adult entertainment industry."

Well, we'll be the judge of that, thank you very much!

After the huge success of "Grunts," Raging Stallion Studios is planning another gay-porn epic. The video, "To the Last Man," is based on a classic Zane Grey novel set in the Old West and will cost the studio at least $200,000. The studio  also plan to inject some Quentin Tarantinoesque violence in the video with an over-the-top shoot-em-up ending.

"Not to worry," said RSS president Chris Ward. "There is a non-violent, all-sex edit for consumers who do not want to see all the mayhem. This movie is going to go where no porn film has gone before. It's really a gay marriage between adult and mainstream product that tells a story and shows lots of amazing sex.

"Some of the scenes will be pretty controversial. There is one scene in particular that is very upsetting," he added. He refused to elaborate.

The video will feature Ricky Sinz and Scott Tanner as rival ranchers at odds over water rights. Jake Deckard, Damien Crosse, Logan McCree, R.J. Danvers, Tristan Jaxx, Bo Matthews, Antonio Biaggi and Damian Rios will also appear.

"We really enjoy shooting blockbuster films," Ward said. "All of us are really looking forward to doing a real, honest-to-goodness western. It's a sexy genre, and it really goes with our company name." Really.

Principal photography began on Thursday and should conclude in 3 weeks, but you'll have to wait until Thanksgiving weekend before the DVD will be available.

The plot for Mustang's "Vanished" is a simple one: Jake Dakota goes looking for his best friend Tyler Saint who has vanished without a trace (cue scary music).

Who knew a three-part 556 minute video inspired by the Iraq War would be such a hit among industry types, critics, and the general public? Well, Raging Stallion Studio's "GRUNTS" trilogy, featuring 21 men with rifles up and asses ready for inspection, has done just that while proving that DVD sales aren't quite dead.

The movie is set in a boot camp for Iraq-bound recruits, and you know what soldiers do when before they lay their lives on the line ... they jerk-off, suck and fuck themselves to exhaustion. And it all culminates in a free-for-all orgy after an ingredient in the experimental gay bomb, "hydrospastic nitrate," is accidentally released into the barracks.

At the 2008 GayVN Awards in February, "GRUNTS" -- released as "The New Recruits," "Misconduct," and "Brothers in Arms" -- picked up awards for Best Picture, Director, Actor (Jake Deckard), Supporting Actor (Ricky Sinz), Sex Scene, Editing and Art Direction.  More recently they took four Grabby Awards.
