Ganesha Productions is looking for Europe’s Next Gay Porn Star in a contest pitting (hopefully) hot young men against each other..

"Contestants will be put through their paces at their auditions, where they will have to prove their worth in front of both the panel of judges and camera," says the website. "Only two contestants from each country will be selected to join us at the Grand Finale in Portugal, where all 14 winners will live together and vie for the incredible grand prize."

And exactly what is said grand prize? The winner gets an exclusive contract with Bel Ami, editorial coverage and front covers of QXMen Magazine, a contract as the face of underwear company Clone Zone, and a 7 day holiday for two in USA.

The jury will include porn stars Jesse Santana, Francesco D’Macho and Bel Ami’s own Johan Paulik.

The actual challenges and judging will be put online for all the world to see. Question is: how much will it cost us to look? We'll let you know as soon as we find out!

Kurt Wild has come out swinging against his former employer, Subway, accusing the fast food sandwich chain of firing him for his work in adult videos.

Alleged killers Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes are hoping for some clarity this week concerning their trial in the murder of porn producer Bryan Kocis. Luzerne County, PA Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. is expected to make some important decisions on their case.

The judge will determine if the men will be tried together or separately, whether or not their work as escorts and porn producers (referred to in court documents as "alleged prior bad acts") can be used as evidence by prosecutors, and if taped conversations of Cuadra and Kerekes supposedly talking about the murder will be heard by the jurors.

The case itself has been pending since May of last year and should finally begin in January, 2009. For some reason we thought due process was a little quicker than that ...

"Well guys, I am still conflicted, but here's what would have happened if I pulled out. The club would have suffered. And someone would have been stiffed the cost of my airline travel which was booked and non refundable. Do I do that to the fans and club owners? No I can't. And then I considered the Manhunt employees who hired me, managed my trips and worked hard for me to get 4 gigs this year... they didn't have to book me. Make the weekend a hell for them? In many ways we're in the same predicament."

That doesn't mean he has forgiven or forgotten ...

"Now that I fulfilled my professional obligations and I (am) just a consumer again - I am mostly (sic) likely done with Manhunt, at least for now until the dust settles and they can convince me it's safe to log on again... for now it's log off." 

Given that Manhunt employs and is managed by many good-hearted men we're sure they'll come up with a way for the site to redeem itself. Let the healing begin ...

Porn stars are hoping to raise funds to help defeat Proposition 8 -- which would deny same-sex couples the right to marry if passed -- on California's November ballot. Tony Buff, Steve Cruz and Zak Spears will headline the 2008 Pornathon on Sunday, August 17 at The Faultline leather/Levi’s bar in Silverlake, Calif. Suggested donation? A mere $5.

In addition to fighting for gay marriage, the 2008 Pornathon is also meant to promote the hard work made by certain studios to promote safer sex.

“Generally porn companies are relegated to the back tables at auctions and fundraisers,” says Faultline owner Shawn Farnsworth. “Yet nothing has established the idea that aggressive, horny satisfaction can be achieved safely than the continuing output of the major gay porn companies.”

“Shawn and his team at the Faultline have always been at the forefront of giving back to the community,” says Keith Webb, Titan Media VP. “We are proud to be part of such a worthwhile event. We applaud Shawn for doing the right thing for the community at large and saying ‘no’ to unsafe sex and bareback films and the message they send. ... It is time for community leaders to take a stand and do what they can to combat the rise of HIV in the gay community.”

Webb added that defeating Proposition 8 is also a personal matter for his company: Titan’s General Counsel Gill Sperlein will marry his partner this October.

"'In Everything You Wanted To Know About Gay Porn Stars *but were afraid to ask,' I interviewed sixteen men that perform in gay porn and asked them what makes them tick. This is their forum and their voice. When I spoke to these men, I wanted to know what their parents thought, how they got into the industry and what their ultimate goals were. I found them incredibly bright, sensitive and inspiring," says Roecker.

Although the series will explore the impact of drugs on the industry, depression, and the stigma attached to starring in gay porn videos, it will also show the lighter side of the entertainers' lives.
