Straight College Men was one of the early contenders in the "naked straight guys" niche. Well over a hundred "All American" collegiate types have done just that for Matt -- and he revels in it. Unfortunately the site is not updated nearly as often as other sites are and the monthly price is much higher than average.

Navigation of Straight College Men is reasonably straightforward, with the main navigation bar in the left column. From the members' home page, click "Videos" or "Auditions" to get to the content. After checking out the story that accompanies the video, click "Stills" for images, or "Video" for the movie.

The video menu, which pops up in a separate window, takes a minute to figure out. All the main videos are divided into clips, so you have to choose the clip number first and then the "stream" or "download" option (if you don't choose, the video will be for clip #1). The photo menu is quirky, too: you can't move to the next page of thumbnails until you click on the last thumbnail on the page.


Matt chats in depth with all of these studs, asking them all sorts of nosy questions about their sex lives. It's pretty cool because you don't usually find an obviously gay guy talking to straight guys so frankly about masturbation, first-time sexual experiences and what they like to do in bed. And unlike many so-called "straight boy" sites, these guys come across as the real McCoy. Matt also writes up a detailed, illustrated essay for every session he films.

In the solo sessions, Matt's subject usually starts off fully clothed out of doors; later he goes inside and strips down to jerk off on a bed or couch while watching straight porn -- which you can hear in the background. A shower scene is often a part of the video as well.

About half of the more recent videos are duo or group sessions. There is always a good deal of conversation to get things warmed up, and then these straight boys go at it with gusto. Check out the six man "log cabin weekend" and the group vacation to Hawaii.

There are also many "Audition" videos which don't have the essay, photosets or the level of editing that the regular videos have. These fellows fall into a range of types, most of which are not in the "Straight College Men" mold, but there will certainly be some to satisfy every taste.

In total, there are over 290 videos available on Straight College Men (170 "Auditions" and 120 regular "Videos"). The regular videos run between 30 and 45 minutes each, much longer than you usually get. But the updates of the more popular regular videos are only about once a month, and sometimes a particular video project is spread out over two or three projects.

Video is in Real and Windows Media formats. You can stream(pd) or download the video in four different speeds, the maximum which is 450 kbps, playing in a 475x275 window. There is no DRM on the video.

The production values of the video are very good, especially considering that these are single camera shoots, with a nice variety of shots and many poses.

For each of the movies in Str8 College Men there are from 200 to 300 very high quality, video captures (500x360), more than you usually get from a video site. Images cannot be zipped or viewed as a slideshow.

Straight College Men's pricing is high, and completely out of whack with comparable sites. The $28.95 one week non-recurring membership is a lot considering most sites charge less than that for an entire month. And the monthly $44.95 price tag is almost unheard of.


Straight College Men is a well put together site brimming with personality and is a good choice for anyone with a penchant for true hetero meat. But the high price and infrequent updates are significant minuses.
