Celebs join Jimmy Kimmel in fight against HIV/AIDS

The stars came out on Tuesday night to help Bono and Jimmy Kimmel raise some money in the battle against HIV and AIDS. The celebrities -- from Channing Tatum to Julia Roberts -- each explained a special experience they had created, made available through an auction, to help raise money for AIDS-charity (RED).

(RED) was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver. Their aim was to create an AIDS free generation, and they wanted to make it easy for people and businesses to join the fight against the deadly virus.

So far the charity has raised over $365 million, and helped over 70 million people.

They then sang a song to remind people that “if we don’t help people with AIDS, we’re going to hell.”
