Hottie cast to play gay character in Archie Comics inspired show

Riverdale is a new series being planned for the CW. It will be a polished, updated reworking of the classic Archie Comics series.

Most of the cast has already been named, but we just got word that a very sexy Corey Cott will be playing gay character Kevin Keller.

Cott is better known for his work on Broadway, namely as the lead in the musical Newsies ... a role he got just two weeks after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University.

CW fare often skews towards a younger audience, so it will be interesting to see how much focus Keller gets in the show.
