Moving music video about a gay boy and his homophobic dad

UK-born, New York-based singer Greg Holden has released the music video for his single “Boys in the Street.” The song is about a gay man’s relationship with his disapproving father over the years. It is quite moving.

Holden said the song was only partially inspired by his relationship with his own stepfather. Much of the story was based on the experiences of his friends. “I wanted to try and write about it, because a lot of them can’t,” Holden explained.
