Ellen is back in the sitcom game, though this time she won't be doing any on-camera work. The comedian is producing a new show for NBC called One Big Happy.

 

The show will launch in March, and is about a straight man (Nick Zano) and gay woman (Elisha Cuthbert) who decide to have a baby together. But just when Cuthbert's character gets pregnant, Zano lands a serious girlfriend. Hilarity - we hope - ensues (though based on the trailer below, don't expect too much!).

 

"You will love it, and I'll tell you why," said Ellen. "There's a lesbian in it." Um, just the one? How do we even know she's a lesbian then?
