Corbin Fisher extends olive branch to former model

Jake LyonsCorbin Fisher has offered to go easy on former model Jake Lyons.

Lyons had been sued by the porn company after using copyrighted images to promote himself as an escort. Corbin Fisher was awarded $54,000 by a Florida federal court for the infringement, but is now willing to let Lyons off if he donates just 10% of the total -- $5,400 -- to Equality Florida (EQFL), a non-profit working towards equal rights for the LGBT community in that state (such as fighting Florida's ban on gay adoptions earlier this year).

"It's important to understand this was never about money," Corbin Fisher CEO Jason Gibson said. "Despite our never expecting or even really wanting any money out of this case, it was still vital our contracts were enforced, name protected and Mr. Lyons made aware there are actions that are simply unacceptable and cannot pass without consequence."

Marc Randazza, Corbin Fisher general counsel, added: "Even after we filed the suit, we were willing to drop it if Lyons acted reasonably. But, his behavior only got worse -- he kept making appointments to meet with us, and then would flake out on them. He kept agreeing to resolve the thing, and then would change his mind at the last minute."

The $5,400 donation would effectively end the legal battle with the model.  "Let's turn this into lemonade," Gibson said.

Lyons is still working in porn so hopefully he'll take the offer for his own sake. However in his most recent work he gets fucked bareback, so he's doesn't seem to be making the smartest decisions at the moment.
