Travolta fires back against gay rumors

John TravoltaLast week gawker.com published a story about author Robert Randolph's upcoming and self-published book 'You'll Never Spa in This Town Again.'

In the book, Randolph outs several celebs who he claims he ran into while spending time in the gay baths. His biggest target: John Travolta. Randolph isn't shy about what he allegedly saw the movie star do, and the types of men he allegedly liked.

And though one would hope that what happens in a spa would stay in the spa, Randolph justified his decision to out the star because of Travolta's involvement with Scientology, which has often been accused of being homophobic.

A lawyer for Travolta demanded that gawker.com remove the “false and outrageous” post about the actor’s sex life. The lawyers go on to state that the author provides no evidence for his claims, openly admits to suffering from brain damage, and claims the stories are from over 15 years ago.

Travolta is seeking "an unequivocal and prominent retraction of the false and defamatory statements."
