British actor bashed for playing gay

Danny Miller is a straight actor who plays gay character Aaron Livesy on the British soap 'Emmerdale.' He must be one convincing actor, as Miller was gay-bashed over the weekend by two drunken thugs in Manchester.

He was out to see his father perform at a comedy club when the two men approached him.

Before the assault, one of the attackers reportedly shouted: “There’s that gay lad off the telly – let’s fucking get him!”

Luckily, Miller was shaken but otherwise okay. He took to Twitter to explain.

“I was attacked by a couple of lads tonight but managed to escape unharmed,” he typed. “Just a couple of drunken lads took a few swings. ... Afraid to say it was Emmerdale related. Not sure why though. Hadn’t seen them before ever.”
