Can porn with a plot be hot? In the case of the sophomore site Twinkscape, the answer is a definite yes. The site’s video releases describe the adventures of a group of twink friends who decide to make some extra cash by starting their own porn business. The videos mix hand-held footage from the "twinkcam" with continuity shots from an unseen director. Twinkscape delivers a funny and surprisingly hot collection of solo, duo and group scenes featuring a nice assortment of sexy young guys. Unfortunately, the site stopped updating in late 2009 (but for one video in 2010) at a total of forty videos.

Twinkscape’s tour gives you a comprehensive introduction to the site’s concept, cast and content. Every video released to date has a written summary, a gallery of thumbnails and a brief preview clip. The tour’s detailed photo and text “cast” page includes some interesting tidbits about Twinkscape’s performers.

Navigation

With a clean design and clearly marked page links, Twinkscape is easy to navigate. All of the site's video releases are on a single page, and are labeled Series 1 to Series 6. There's no search function but with only 40 vids, there's no need.

The Men and the Action

True to its name, Twinkscape is populated by a gang of fresh-faced young guys with slim athletic bodies. Most are white, but Latino heartthrobs Ajay and Jon Estevez add some welcome diversity to the cast of brunettes and blonds.

Some of the performers will be familiar to viewers from their previous work on other sites. Experience hasn’t jaded these boys, though. They’re professional enough to be convincing in their portrayal of amateur pornographers on the make, but still enthusiastic about the hot scenes they play. The entire Twinkscape cast is impressive, but we think that hung “delivery guy” Jason Matthews and 20 year old bi stud Cody Carter are exceptional. In one hot scene, the two participate in a classic mechanic / garage customer scenario that manages to be both clever and pretty damn sexy.

The quality of Twinkscape's videos is consistently high. Their mix of hand-held footage with more static shots, which could be a distraction, instead it comes across as unique. Both camera styles are handled with an eye for crisp, unshadowed detail and clean images which the professional editing alternates in well-balanced, nicely paced sequences. Sexy touches – intense facial expressions, contortions and, of course, cumshots – are always included.

Video Details

Twinkscape currently hosts 40 exclusive videos, most between 15 and 20 minutes long. The site’s downloads do not have DRM, so may be saved and replayed indefinitely. Note though, that the site is no longer updating.

Image and Other Content

In comparison to the site’s videos, the still images on Twinkscape are average: each video episode is accompanied by a gallery of about 30 mid-sized photos. The images are viewed with directional arrows; they are not available for “hands-free” slideshow playback.

Summing Up

For anybody who loves smooth younger guys – and doesn’t mind a few knowing winks while getting his kicks – Twinkscape is a amusing, innovative and sexy site with a good variety of videos. Unfortunately it appears that the Twinkscape experiment did not pan out, as the site is no longer updating.
