Circle Jerk Boys is the flagship of the Pride Studios group, one of five sites that the studio offers under the 1 Gay Pass banner. CJB is definitely the centerpiece of the suite, with more than 300 high quality videos of amateur guys -- and a few professionals -- performing in solo, duo, and group action.

Tour

Circle Jerk Boys features a mirror-type tour that allows you to scroll through the entire model index and preview any of the sessions. For each episode there's a gallery of 5 large thumbnail pics (but if you click on a thumbnail you'll be taken to the join page.) Click on "Watch The Free Trailer" on the right side of the screen for a 30-second video preview. You'll also enjoy reading some of the amusing descriptions of the guys.

Navigation

Navigation within CJB is straightforward. The "Video Vault" button will take you to the episode index. For each episode in the vault there are buttons across the top to "Watch The Video," look "Behind The Scenes," or "View The Pictures." While getting around the site is easy we think the many video options could be presented more efficiently.

The Men and the Action

Circle Jerk Boys shoots most of its episodes in South Beach, Miami. The 19-27 year-old, natural-looking amateur guys include Caucasians, a generous helping of uncut young Latino guys, and a few Afro-American men as well. There are lots of solos, but about a third of the scenes feature hardcore action where these mostly straight studs are hooked up with each other in pairs, threesomes and more.

The Pride Studios Miami crew handles these young amateurs just right, getting them really comfortable and expertly filming them. The site has a lot of personality to it, which comes through in the colorful written model and scene descriptions and the "Behind the Scenes" video interviews. Here a boy can talk about anything, from the various raunchy things he's done with girls to his mom catching him jerking off in his bedroom. Then the real fun begins.

Video Details

Circle Jerk Boys logs in at more than 300 videos. It is fully updated once weekly with pictures and a video session. The average viewing time is 12 minutes (not including the "Behind the Scenes" material), for a total of over 60 hours of XXX video. In 2009 DRM was removed on all videos, so you can download and keep them for as long as you want.

The 1 Gay Pass sites have recently upgraded their video options. The following reflects the most recent 15% of videos: Windows Media: download in four different qualities, the best of which have bitrates of from 3,000 to 5,000 kbps, playing in a very large (1280x720 pixel) window; or stream at 540 kbps (640x360 pixels) Real Media: download at 300 kbps (480x270 pixels); or stream at 540 kbps (640x360 pixels.) Flash: stream in two qualities, the best which is 900 kbps (850x400 pixels) With previous videos the Windows Media downloads are a maximum of 1500 kbps (640x480 pixels); Real Player videos and one to two minute MPEG clips play in a 320x240 window. The Flash, Real and Windows streams started and played through smoothly, but on repositioning within the video the Real streams were sometimes sluggish. Download times were quite reasonable, even for the largest files. Mac note: Mac users can stream the most recent videos in Flash. The Windows Media files do not have DRM on them and so can be viewed by using a conversion program such as Flip 4 Mac. Mobile note: videos are not formatted for mobile use.

The videos on all the Pride Studios sites is better than ever -- now there are high-def two-camera shoots that show the cumshot from two angles and in slow motion. There is a very intimate roving camera that moves fully around the model's body, and captures lots of medium and close-up shots. The cumshots are almost always caught.

Image and Other Content

Well-designed galleries accompany every video session and feature a mixture of good-sized video captures and digital pictures. The images are very good quality. The galleries average 130 pictures, for a total of almost 40,000 images. There's a slideshow available to accommodate two fisted wanking.

Summing Up

Circle Jerk Boys is a great site by itself, but packaged with the four other sites in 1 Gay Pass and a number of bonus feeds, it adds up to one of the best whack-off values around. The explicit free trailers of hot Latino and Anglo men you'll see in the tour will leave you wanting much more, and Circle Jerk Boys delivers what it promises.
