Maleflixxx is the largest VOD company specializing in gay content and is the only major VOD service that is gay-owned and operated.   It offers over 6,600 titles from over 200 studios. Of those titles about 25% are carried by maleflixxx exclusively.

Formats and Speeds

Maleflixxx video is offered for streaming in both Real Media and Windows Media formats. Most, but not all, of the videos can also be downloaded in Windows Media. Various speeds are available with the fastest playing at 1100 kbps in a 640x480 window. 

Finding Your Flicks

From the maleflixxx home page you can quickly select from a dozen major themes or click to get a list of all studios, stars and themes. The Smart Search  option offers greater flexibility in specifying exactly what you're looking for. Search results are sortable, giving you the option of displaying by most recently added titles, user rating, release date or alphabetically by title. 

Movie Descriptions

On the individual title page, there's a box cover and a brief description of the movie, along with the studio, running time, country, year and director. You are provided with an "out of five" rating - the average assigned by other users who've watched the movie. You also get headshots of the models appearing in the video and a couple of small video captures for each scenes.

Pricing

Streamed video is rented on a per scene or per title basis. Two hour scene rentals are between $2 and $3. Twenty-four full video rentals are about $10.

Downloaded video is rented for five days on a per scene or per title basis; prices vary depending on the length of the video but are generally 30% higher than the streaming option.

Before watching a video, you must first purchase a "viewing package" which is added to your maleflixxx wallet. Packages start for as little as $10; discounts apply to larger purchases. 

Summing Up

Maleflixxx is an excellent choice if you are looking for a wide variety of video from many studios and don't want to get locked into a monthly membership.
