Coming out should always be this fabulous

A character in Netflix's hit animated sitcom Big Mouth really knows how to come out.

Andrew Glouberman (voiced by John Mulaney) thinks he might be gay after seeing a sexy movie trailer with a buff male lead. The tingling in his shorts makes him question his sexuality, and the ghost of Freddie Mercury shows up to sing about how amazing being gay can be.

‘When you’re gay, every day is a non-stop cabaret," he sings. "You’ve got style and flair, you’re loved everywhere -- except for North Carolina."

The show focuses on the experiences of a group of students at a school in New York as they deal with the strange and hilarious experience known as puberty. From premature ejaculation at a school dance to turning a pillow into a sex aid, the show draws upon the real life experiences of the show's creators, Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg.

"A lot of it is exaggerations and embellishment of stuff that really did happen to us," Goldberg said.

If only our coming out was this flashy!
