PWR BTTM releases "Answer My Text"

Queer alt-pop duo PWR BTTM has dropped its second single from the upcoming album Pageant. "Answer My Text" is all about that excruciatingly long wait between sending your new crush a message and hearing back from him. Ugh!

Liv Bruce and Bean Hopkins created the duo after meeting in 2011 when both were students at Bard College in New York State. They released their first album, Cinderella Beauty Shop, in 2014.

While a bottom is usually somewhat passive, a power bottom enjoys maintaining control over the top. Bruce and Hopkins saw the term as one of empowerment and felt it was perfect for the band.

Pageant will be available May 12.
